About the blog:
Forward thinking as an essential component of effective leadership. This blog focuses on topics at the intersection of finance, technology and the law. The goal is to identify and advocate for strategies helpful in building resiliency, navigating change and creating value.
About me:
As a business lawyer, I work with senior leaders in a variety of industries to help set strategy to achieve client objectives. Quite often, this work requires navigating extremely challenging circumstances. In working with business leaders, I draw on my past experiences as in-house corporate counsel at a publicly- traded international technology company, my clerkship with a United States District Court judge, and my training and service as a mediator.
My community volunteer efforts are concentrated on economic opportunity, education and youth development. Among other volunteer service, I am on the board of VETRN (Veteran Entrepreneurial Training and Resource Network), a non-profit with the mission to provide military veterans and their families the skills, resources and mentoring needed to grow their own small businesses.
My bar admissions include Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. I am listed on the Register of Mediators for the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the District of Delaware, the District of Massachusetts, and the Southern District of New York.
